Sophie Fahy is a city girl, living in a small town in North Yorkshire, UK. At the age of nineteen she fell pregnant, with her cheeky chappy, little boy. She went to Teesside University and studied BA hons, Childhood and Youth studies, gaining her a degree.
Sophie started writing in her early teens and fell in love with the process. Her dream has always been to become a published author and now at the age of 24, her dream has come true with her debut novel, Through Her Eyes.
Through Her Eyes is a young adult novel close to her heart and explores a differently-abled teenager, bullying, the effects of drug-misuse and it is all portrayed in a very diverse way. She wants her writing to help others, just like it helped her therapeutically, in a time she was suffering mentally. Her aim is to write more books about strong-minded girls who are complex yet compelling.
